BALD KNOB, Ark. (AP) - Authorities say a Bald Knob man has been arrested in the shooting death of a man in White County.

The sheriff’s office said in a news release to reporters that deputies were called to a home north of Bald Knob about 5:30 p.m. Tuesday and found 27-year-old Michael Gimondo of Searcy dead from a gunshot wound.

Authorities say the suspect was arrested at the scene and is being held on $150,000 bond pending a March 7 court appearance.

Online court records do not show that formal charges have been filed.
