SPARKS, Nev. (AP) - Secret Witness is offering a $1,000 reward in northern Nevada for information leading to the arrest and prosecution of a suspect in the robbery of a Family Dollar store in Sparks.
Sparks police say the white male in his mid- to late 20s entered the store on East Prater Way just before 9 p.m. Sunday.
He allegedly claimed he had a gun, threatened an employee and obtained an undisclosed amount of money before he fled.
Police say he kept his hand inside the front of his pants and did not produce a weapon but could be armed.
The employee wasn’t injured.
Witnesses say the suspect was about 6-foot tall with a thin build and wearing all dark clothing.
