ENOLA, Pa. (AP) - The coroner has identified a man who died of smoke inhalation in an early-morning house fire in central Pennsylvania.

The Cumberland County coroner says 47-year-old Richard Wealand died in the fire early Tuesday in East Pennsboro Township. That’s just west of Harrisburg, across the Susquehanna River.

A neighbor called 911 after seeing flames at the house shortly before 3 a.m.

Authorities say a second person escaped the fire and was also able to save a couple of dogs.

The cause of the fire was being investigated by a state police fire marshal.
