BOSTON (AP) - McDonald’s top executive is speaking to Boston business leaders.
Stephen Easterbrook, president and CEO of the fast food giant, is the featured guest at Boston College’s Chief Executives Club lunch at the Boston Harbor Hotel on Feb. 2.
Easterbrook is expected to talk about the company’s recent turnaround and how it’s striving to be “recognized by customers as the modern and progressive burger company,” according to the college.
Easterbrook has been McDonald’s CEO since 2015. He joined the company in 1993 and has served as a top executive of its United Kingdom and European operations. He also led UK-based restaurant chains PizzaExpress LTD and Wagamama Limited.
The company was founded in 1955 by Ray Kroc. It’s based in Oak Brook, Illinois and has over 36,000 locations worldwide.
