DOVER, Del. (AP) - Police say a man was knocked unconscious and robbed while trying to enter his car in a Dover parking lot.

Delaware State Police say the 24-year-old man was walking to his car at the Generals Way Apartments around 11 a.m. Friday when he was approached from behind by two male suspects. Police say the men knocked the victim unconscious before stealing items off of him. Police say the suspects also stole items from inside the man’s car before fleeing.

Police say the victim was taken to the hospital non-life threatening injuries. Police say the man wasn’t able to provide a description of the suspects.



Authorities are asking anyone with information about the robbery to contact police.
