MIDDLETOWN, Del. (AP) - Authorities say they believe a vehicle fire that spread into a nearby house trailer with six people inside in Middletown was the result of arson.

The State Fire Marshal’s office said firefighters were called to the scene of the fire at the Villagebrook Trailer Park shortly before 4 a.m. on Saturday. Investigators say the car fire was intentionally set and spread into an adjacent house trailer.

The fire marshal’s office says none of the six people that were in the house trailer were injured. Authorities say the fire caused an estimated $10,000 in damage.
