LAS VEGAS (AP) - Nevada state troopers say a man died when he crashed a stolen motorcycle on a highway near Las Vegas.

The Las Vegas Review-Journal reports (https://bit.ly/2ju06B7 ) that the Clark County coroner has identified the man as 33-year-old Cory Fry of Pahrump and ruled his death an accident.

Nevada Highway Patrol trooper Chelsea Stuenkel says Fry died at the scene of the Tuesday crash on U.S. Highway 95.

According to a Highway Patrol investigation, Fry was travelling in a “reckless manner” when he struck the center median wall and was thrown from the motorcycle. Authorities found that the motorcycle was reported as stolen to Las Vegas police on Jan. 19.

It is not known whether alcohol or drugs played a role in the crash.
