PHILADELPHIA (AP) - Motorists and pedestrians in Philadelphia are facing detours because of President Donald Trump’s visit to the Republican congressional retreat.

The restrictions surround the Lowes Philadelphia Hotel on 12th and Market streets, where the GOP members are staying.

Streets around the hotel are closed Thursday from 6 a.m. until 6 p.m.

Pedestrians are prohibited along the 1100 and 1200 blocks of Market, 12th Street from Chestnut to Filbert Streets and 13th Street from Chestnut to Market.

SEPTA also has adjusted the market-Frankford Line, trolley service and several bus routes.
