BUCKSPORT, Maine (AP) - Officials have identified a body pulled last weekend from the Penobscot River in Bucksport.

Officials tell WABI-TV that Paul Francis of Bangor had been missing since early last month. He was known around Bangor by the nickname, “June Bug.”

Police say Francis might have been despondent and they do not suspect foul play.

His body was recovered from the river near the former Verso Paper mill in Bucksport after being seen by an employee of the facility.
