MANCHESTER, N.H. (AP) - Parents, students and faculty joined city officials at a vigil to speak out against racially-charged signs found near two New Hampshire schools.
Two signs reading “Diversity is a code word for white genocide” were taken down last week outside the Middle School at Parkside and Webster Elementary School in Manchester. It’s unclear who’s responsible.
NH1 reports attendees of Tuesday evening’s vigil held flags from various countries and signs with inclusive messages, including “the only race is the human race” and “hatred has no home here.”
School Superintendent Bolgen Vargas says he thinks the racially-charged signs are part of a larger campaign known as the “White Genocide Project.”
The group, which says on its website it believes diversity is a coordinated campaign of genocide against white people, supported the action.
