Officials: Man killed by commuter train in West Palm Beach

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. (AP) - Officials say a man was hit by a commuter train after walking underneath a railroad crossing gate.

The Palm Beach Post (https://goo.gl/2VTu5v ) reports that the man was killed Monday afternoon.

West Palm Beach police closed the surrounding street to traffic as they investigated the Tri-Rail tracks. Police weren’t immediately saying why the man was on the tracks. His name wasn’t immediately released.
