GEORGE, Wash. (AP) - Police say five arrests have been made in connection with the shooting death of a 31-year-old woman whose body was found near George.
The Grant County Sheriff’s Office said in a news release Tuesday that the arrests were made recently in the death of Jill Sundberg. Her body was found Dec. 22. Police said she was shot 13 times.
The sheriff’s office says those arrested include: 39-year-old Gustavo Rodriguez; 25-year-old Ambrosio Villanueva; 25-year-old Julio Villanueva; 33-year-old Fernando Gutierrez; and 24-year-old Salvador Gomez.
The sheriff’s office says Sundberg argued with Rodriguez at an RV park the evening before and that shortly afterward, she was taken against her will to the location where her body was later discovered.
Rodriguez and the Villanuevas have been charged with murder and kidnapping while the other two arrested face material witness charges.
