HONOKAA, Hawaii (AP) - Police on the Big Island have identified the woman whose body was found after she was swept away during a flash flood.

Police identified her on Monday as 47-year-old Beth Radl of Honokaa.

Authorities say she was trying to cross rushing, knee-high water near her home Saturday night. Her body was found Sunday morning in a stream about a quarter-mile away.

An autopsy will determine the exact cause of death.
