HONOLULU (AP) - Part of the H-1 Freeway eastbound is closed and may not reopen until Monday as crews work to repair a water main break.

The Honolulu Police Department is advising drivers to use alternate routes.

The Board of Water Supply said a 24-inch transmission line broke early Saturday on Kalanianaole Highway and left a large hole that pavers are working to repair.

Water service was interrupted for some customers.

A water source was set up for the 11 customers still without service.
