TUCSON, Ariz. (AP) - Tucson police say they’re investigating a shooting death in the midtown area and searching for suspects in the case.

Police responded to a shots fired call about 1 a.m. Monday.

When officers got to the scene, they say they found a man with obvious gunshot trauma.



Tucson Fire Department also responded and began to administer aid to the victim, but he was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police say the name of the man is being withheld until his relatives are notified.

They also say it appears the suspect or suspects were specifically targeting the victim.
