HAMPTON, N.H. (AP) - Police say a driver escaped injury after he lost control of his car and it slid into a tanker truck, getting stuck underneath it on a New Hampshire road.
State police say 34-year-old Daniel Decoteau, of Milford, slid into the tanker on Route 101 on Wednesday afternoon. Both vehicles slid into a concrete barrier.
Police say Decoteau was able to climb out of the car’s passenger window and crawl underneath the tanker.
The driver of the tractor-tanker, 53-year-old Aquiles Martinez, of Somerville, Massachusetts, suffered minor injuries and was taken to a hospital.
