MIAMI (AP) - Officials say Miami Dade College’s North campus has received an “all clear” after being evacuated because of a bomb threat.
School spokesman Juan Mendieta told the Miami Herald (https://goo.gl/4o141b ) that the campus was evacuated Wednesday afternoon “in an abundance of caution.”
Miami-Dade police spokesman Daniel Ferrin says college administrators received an email around 2:30 p.m. The sender claimed there was a bomb in one of the buildings. Ferrin says canine units searched for a possible explosive, but nothing was found.
Classes will resume Thursday.
