GLENDALE, Ariz. (AP) - Police in Glendale have released the name of a man who was killed in a motorcycle accident.

They say 56-year-old Michael Powell of Phoenix was declared dead at the scene about 1:30 a.m. Wednesday.

Police say the motorcycle Powell was riding struck a median as it was approaching the intersection.



They say Powell wasn’t wearing a helmet and it’s still unknown if speed or impairment were factors in the accident.
