PALM COAST, Fla. (AP) - The Florida Highway Patrol says two people are dead following a crash in northeast Florida.
Troopers said in a news release that the crash happened Monday evening on Palm Coast Parkway after a vehicle driven by 25-year-old Tyler Wilkinson ran a red light and crashed into another vehicle. Both vehicles ended up in a ditch.
The driver and a passenger in the vehicle hit by Wilkinson’s car died at the crash scene. Troopers identified the driver as 55-year-old Terri Lynn Wickel. The identity of the passenger hasn’t been released, pending notification of next of kin.
The report says Wilkinson received minor injuries.
