DANVILLE, Va. (AP) - Authorities in Danville are investigating a house fire that left a man dead.
According to a news release, the Danville Fire Department responded to the blaze around 1 a.m. Sunday. Crews found a man and began resuscitation efforts on scene. The man was taken a hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
He wasn’t immediately identified.
The Danville Register & Bee reports (https://bit.ly/2jzhRNp ) officials are investigating the cause of the fire, which caused extensive damage to the home.
