ANDOVER, Mass. (AP) - State police say a 75-year-old man died after his minivan crashed into the rear of a tractor-trailer and burst into flames in Andover.

The truck was stopped at a red light on Route 125 at about 5 p.m. Tuesday when it was struck by a minivan driven by George Sanborn, of Andover.

Sanborn was pronounced dead at the scene.



No one else was in the van.

The driver of the truck, a 42-year-old man from Marblehead, remained at the scene. No charges were filed.

Route 125 at Gould Street was closed for more than three hours.

The crash remains under investigation.
