ABERDEEN, N.J. (AP) - State police say a man was seriously injured when the sport utility vehicle he was driving flipped over and caught fire on the Garden State Parkway.

The single-vehicle accident occurred around 11:25 a.m. Sunday in the southbound express lanes near milepost 119.1 in Aberdeen. The driver was being treated at a hospital for undisclosed injuries that were considered serious, but further details were not released.

The driver’s name has not been disclosed.



The cause of the accident was under investigation.
