NEW YORK (AP) - A 52-year-old pedestrian has been struck and killed by a hit-and-run driver in Queens.
Police say the man was hit by a car on Rockaway Boulevard and South Conduit Avenue at about 2:30 a.m. Sunday.
Witnesses tell the Daily News (https://nydn.us/2hGATUN ) that the impact sent the man flying at least 20 feet from where he was hit.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene. His name was not immediately released.
The car kept going. Police are seeking the driver.
