CANYONVILLE, Ore. (AP) - Authorities say a 73-year-old Portland woman died in an apparent drowning at Seven Feathers Casino Resort in Canyonville.
The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office says resort workers pulled Joanne Saito from the pool Tuesday afternoon and tried to revive her. Emergency responders also tried to save her.
The sheriff’s office and the state Medical Examiner’s Office are investigating.
