PHOENIX (AP) - Police in Phoenix are investigating the discovery of a man’s dead body in an alley.
They say officers responded to the area of North 7th Street shortly before 4:30 p.m. Thursday about an injured man.
When officers arrived, they found the victim dead.
Police say the adult man hasn’t been identified yet.
They say preliminary examination of the scene indicates the possibility of an accidental death, but detectives are not ruling out other causes.
The area will be restricted for several more hours while detectives investigate.
The Maricopa County Medical Examiner’s Office will be consulted to determine the cause of death.
