Channing Tatum has a new business venture that could be coming to a liquor store near you.
Bon Appetit magazine reported Wednesday that the stripper-turned-actor is producing a line of spirits labeled Born and Bred Vodka, made in partnership with the Idaho-based Grand Teton Distillery.
Mr. Tatum told Bon Appetit he chose Grand Teton after taste testing vodkas from about 25 different distilleries.
“Grand Teton became our favorite. It just tasted better, different than any vodka that was on the top shelf. There was a smooth taste to do it, like a cool feeling in your mouth,” he said.
On its website, Grand Teton boasts that it uses “pristine mountain water” from the nearby mountains “in proofing our spirits” and that it sources the potatoes for its vodkas from local farms.
According to its website, Grand Teton liquors are sold through distributors in 18 states and Canada, and is available for direct shipment online. A 750mL bottle of 80-proof Born and Bred will set you back about $27 plus taxes and shipping.
