PALMYRA, Maine (AP) - Investigators believe the two people killed in an apartment house fire were a 28-year-old woman and her 44-year-old husband.
The fire took place on Tuesday at a farmhouse that had been converted into apartments in Palmyra, Maine. Investigators from the State Fire Marshal’s Office said Thursday they believe the bodies found in the rubble were those of Roger and Kayla Brown.
Investigators say the cause has not yet been determined, but they believe the fire started in one of two apartments located over the garage.
Six residents escaped the building early Tuesday and weren’t hurt.
