PORT ORCHARD, Wash. (AP) - A woman who died in a house fire Monday night south of Port Orchard has been identified.

The Kitsap Sun reports (https://goo.gl/g6aMCw ) 76-year-old Joann Parham died from smoke inhalation.

South Kitsap Fire and Rescue crews responded to the home and found her two sons, who also lived at the home, trying to fight the fire.



Officials say both men were taken to hospitals for treatment of injuries.

Officials say the garage was severely damaged and there was significant smoke damage to the home.

The Kitsap County Sheriff’s Office says a small marijuana grow and illegal hash-oil extraction lab. Sheriff’s Detective Lt. Earl Smith says no indication of an explosion was found.

Authorities are investigating.
