EVERETT, Wash. (AP) - Authorities have identified two girls killed in an Interstate 5 crash north of Seattle in the suburb of Lynnwood.

The Daily Herald reported (https://bit.ly/2k1rjgq ) Tuesday that 12-year-old Amiyah Johnson died at the scene of the crash and 2-year-old Yesterday Wallace died at a hospital.

A letter sent home to families from Olympic View Middle School says the girls were cousins.



The Washington State Patrol says the children were riding in a minivan driven by a 43-year-old Marysville man on Friday. The minivan had reportedly stopped or slowed for traffic when it was struck by a pickup truck and pushed into a sedan.

The minivan driver, a 39-year-old woman and two other children, ages 5 and 7, were hospitalized.

An update on their conditions was not available.

The crash remains under investigation.
