RICHMOND, Va. (AP) - A manufacturing company plans to spend $7.2 million for a new operation in Spotsylvania County.

Gov. Terry McAuliffe announced Tuesday that Virginia beat out Maryland and North Carolina to land the project by idX Corporation.

The company makes millwork, fixtures, and graphics for retail companies.



McAuliffe says the state will give the company a $400,000 grant as well as other incentives. The company says it will create 150 new jobs.
