LAS VEGAS (AP) - A Las Vegas mosque is increasing security after receiving threatening emails in connection to President Donald Trump’s executive order on immigration.

The Las Vegas Review-Journal reports (https://bit.ly/2kJzv4l ) that officials with the Islamic Society of Nevada Mosque in Las Vegas say they received two emails after Trump banned immigrants from seven majority-Muslim countries from entering the United States last week.

Islamic Society Director Reza Salimian says one email was severe, addressing all Muslims as terrorists.

Society leaders reported the emails to police and have since hired security guards to patrol the mosque around the clock. Previously, after 9/11, the mosque installed security cameras and an alarm system.

Salimian says while there have been threatening emails, the mosque has also received support from a wide range of organizations and individuals since the executive order.
