TUCSON, Ariz. (AP) - One 17-year-old boy is dead and a 17-year-old girl is injured after they were struck by a train in southern Arizona.

The Pima County Sheriff’s Department says the accident occurred Saturday afternoon in Vail while the two teens were on a train trestle.

The boy was pronounced dead at the scene, while the girl was taken to a hospital for treatment of her injuries.
