Driver dies in rollover crash on I-95

MILFORD, Conn. (AP) - An early-morning crash on a Connecticut highway has claimed the life of a man.

The New Haven Register https://bit.ly/2k7Mlpr reports the accident happened at about 5 a.m. on Saturday when a driver lost control of his vehicle at southbound Interstate 95 off ramp in Milford.

A fire department spokesman said the vehicle rolled over several times before striking a tree.

The driver was pulled from the car and taken to Bridgeport Hospital where he was later pronounced dead. His name and age were not immediately released.

No one else was in the vehicle.

State police are investigating.
