LOUDON, N.H. (AP) - Police in New Hampshire say an elderly man was killed in his driveway after he was pinned between a car and a tree.

Loudon police Chief Kristoffer Burgess tells The Concord Monitor (https://bit.ly/2l3ZrUM ) officers responded to a report of an unconscious individual just after noon on Thursday.

Burgess confirmed that the 84-year-old Loudon man was pinned by a sedan and died. He says it wasn’t immediately clear what happened but the death appears to be accidental.

The victim wasn’t immediately identified. Authorities are investigating.
