WESTMINSTER, S.C. (AP) - A man has been charged with dumping a huge pile of building debris on his neighbor’s yard in Westminster.

The Anderson Independent Mail reported (https://bit.ly/2jIQejy) the debris pile was 9 feet tall and 15 feet wide.

Thirty-nine-year-old Terry Richard Gassaway was arrested Wednesday and charged with dumping more than 500 pounds of litter on his former neighbor’s property without permission. A warrant says the dumping happened last fall.

Oconee County sheriff’s spokesman Jimmy Watt said Gassaway is accused of using a tractor to make a path and dump the debris.

It was not known if Gassaway has a lawyer.
