BOSSIER CITY, La. (AP) - Bossier City police say a retail development is planning stepped up enforcement of a policy prohibiting anyone age 16 or younger from being on the property after 8 p.m. without a parent or guardian.

In a Thursday news release, Bossier police said the stepped up enforcement follows “a number of disturbances involving juveniles” at the Louisiana Boardwalk Outlets.

The disturbances include one last month that resulted in gunfire near the development.

The Bossier Police Department release said the stepped up enforcement begins Saturday.
