QUEEN CREEK, Ariz. (AP) - Authorities have released the cause of death for a mother and son who were killed in a Queen Creek house fire.

KPNX-TV reported Thursday (https://bit.ly/2kxs3t9 ) that the medical examiner report says that 12-year-old Joshua Arnett died of smoke and soot inhalation. His mother, Juliet Arnett, died of smoke inhalation and burns.

The mother and son were found dead in a Queen Creek home on Jan. 25.



The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
