FALLBROOK, Calif. (AP) - Three teenage boys have been arrested after an online photo of a gun prompted the lockdown of a Southern California school.
The San Diego County Sheriff’s Department says a 14-year-old and two 15-year-olds were held Friday after the loaded weapon was found.
Fallbrook High School was locked down for more than three hours after a photo posted on Snapchat showed a semi-automatic pistol apparently being held by a boy in a school bathroom. Another student saw the posting and reported it to officials.
Authorities searched the school and found a handgun in a classroom.
