NEWARK, Del. (AP) - Delaware State Police are looking for a man who tried to rob a Newark gas station.
The agency says in a news release that the incident occurred late Sunday at the Exxon station on Chestnut Hill Road. Troopers say a man went to the sales counter, implied he had a gun, and demanded money from a clerk.
Police say the clerk, instead of giving the suspect money, ran out of the building. The suspect ran away emptyhanded.
