NEWPORT NEWS, Va. (AP) - Police say four people, including a 16-year-old girl, were injured in a drive-by shooting near a Newport News movie theater.
Police said in a statement that officers called to Fountain Way early Monday for a report of a shooting found three people with gunshot wounds to the leg area. Police say the victims are a 21-year-old man, 19-year-old woman and a 16-year-old girl.
Police say a 22-year-old woman who showed up at the hospital in a private vehicle also had gunshot wounds. Police say none of the injuries are thought to be life-threatening. Police say the victims aren’t cooperating with the investigation.
