LANCASTER, Pa. (AP) - Emergency management officials say strong winds from a severe thunderstorm has downed trees and power lines in Lancaster County.
Lancaster County Emergency Management Agency Director Randy Gockley tells LNP newspaper (https://bit.ly/2lWyaHX ) the storm hit Clay, Elizabeth and West Cocalico townships the hardest on Saturday, but other communities also had electrical wires down. He says some farm buildings collapsed and homes were damaged.
No injuries were reported.
Emergency crews spent hours cutting fallen trees and clearing wires and debris from roads around the county.
The National Weather Service in State College says investigators will be in Lancaster County on Sunday checking reports that possible tornados touched down there.
