WASHINGTON (AP) - A District of Columbia charter school teacher has been arrested and charged with child sex abuse.

The Washington Post reports (https://wapo.st/2llEEwJ ) that police say 35-year-old Manuel Garcia Fernandez, a teacher at the Latin American Montessori Bilingual Public Charter School, had sexual contact with two female victims and one male victim between Aug. 17 and Feb. 6. He has been charged with second-degree child sexual abuse.

The school’s executive director, Diane Cottman, said Fernandez has been banned from the school’s premises.
