HELENA, Mont. (AP) - Authorities have identified the 25-year-old man who was one of two killed in a fiery crash on Highway 12.

The Independent Record reports (https://bit.ly/2mi8kim) the Wednesday night collision killed Samuel Tielking and 46-year-old Chester French.

French drove across the median and was traveling in the wrong direction when he collided with Tielking’s vehicle.



The crash sparked a fire.

Montana Highway Patrol suspects alcohol may have been a factor.

Officials say testing determined French’s vehicle was speeding.
