TUCSON, Ariz. (AP) - Pima County Sheriff’s officials say a suspect is in custody in connection with two separate homicide cases.
They say 30-year-old Roque Gutierrez is being held on suspicion of two counts of first-degree murder.
It was unclear Thursday if Gutierrez has a lawyer yet.
Sheriff’s officials say Gutierrez is accused in the fatal shooting of 37-year-old Saul Saucedo-Zavalo.
They say the victim was pronounced dead at a home around midnight Monday.
The second homicide also occurred Monday within the Tucson city limits, but sheriff’s officials haven’t released the victim’s name yet or any details of the case.
