DENVER (AP) - A jury has convicted a man of first-degree murder in a shooting in Denver that left one person dead and another critically injured.

The Denver Post reports (https://goo.gl/g2Pz3Y ) 34-year-old Jesse Oliver was found guilty Thursday in the Sept. 16, 2015, death of 34-year-old Bobby Brown and the wounding of a teenage girl.

Prosecutors say he shot Brown and the girl at an apartment complex in the Montbello neighborhood.



Oliver could be deemed a habitual criminal when he is sentenced May 17.
