BOULDER, Colo. (AP) - Former Boulder Mayor Bob Greenlee has been charged with vehicular homicide and other counts in connection with a December crash that left one person dead.

Greenlee didn’t immediately return a phone message left by The Associated Press. An arraignment is scheduled for March 28.

Authorities say the 75-year-old Greenlee was driving one of five vehicles involved in the Dec. 28 collision that killed 70-year-old Pat Lucero of Monte Vista.

Investigators say Greenlee was attempting to pass another vehicle when his SUV collided with Lucero’s sedan. Greenlee and Lucero’s vehicles then hit a total of three others.

Vehicular homicide is a felony charge that could carry a two-to-six-year prison sentence.
