Driver killed in fiery single-vehicle crash near Malta

BILLINGS, Mont. (AP) - Authorities say the driver of a pickup was killed in a single-vehicle crash near Malta in northeast Montana.

The Billings Gazette reports (https://goo.gl/E6qKET ) the crash happened on U.S. Highway 191 early Friday morning when the driver went off the side of the road after failing to make a left turn. The truck went through a fence, hit a tree and caught fire.

The driver, whose name and age have not been released, died at the scene.
