LOGAN, Utah (AP) - Police are continuing to investigate the death of a 20-year-old Logan woman who was hit by a pickup truck while crossing a street in North Logan.
North Park Police Chief Kim Hawkes identified the victim of Tuesday night’s fatal accident as Dianna Jazmin Soto-Martinez.
A 34-year-old woman who was with her also was struck by the truck but was treated for her injuries and released from a local hospital.
The Herald Journal reports (https://tinyurl.com/zd9slyt ) witnesses told police the truck had a green light when it passed through the intersection at about 10:20 p.m. The driver, a 54-year-old Paradise man, told investigators he did not see the women in the roadway.
