CASA GRANDE, Ariz. (AP) - More than 200 re-enactors are planning to gather at Picacho Peak State Park next month for a Civil War re-enactment.

The Casa Grande Dispatch reports (https://bit.ly/2mm0LDf ) that re-enactors will act out the battle of Picacho Pass, an Arizona battle, and two New Mexico battles over March 18 and 19.

Visitors travel from around the country each year to take part in the authentic historic re-enactments, which include a look at the lifestyle of soldiers in the Southwest during the 1860s.

A special entrance fee of $10 per vehicle will be charged during the historic re-enactment.
