CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (AP) - Authorities in eastern Iowa say a distracted driver has crashed into the side of the Linn County Sheriff’s Office building.
Cedar Rapids television station KCRG reports (https://bit.ly/2mmhMNE ) that the crash happened Wednesday morning. The red sport utility vehicle appeared to just miss a light pole after jumping a curb, running over a sidewalk and the office’s lawn before hitting the building.
No injuries or serious damage to the building were reported.
